About me

I am 23 years old and have a real passion for the creative industry, from TV and video production to graphic design and web design. It is this broad field that I studied at university and found that my particular love lay in graphic design and illustration.

Since graduating over a year ago I have worked as a graphic designer in Manchester, working for big clients such as Carling, Euronews, Joma and The Football League. Since working here I have become very confident in using a wide range of software including Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, InDesign and Final Cut Pro. My work consists of anything from web banners and print layouts, to flash movies and full web page designs. As the only designer at the company I have had to become very efficient in time management, organising my work loads effectively. Meeting tight deadlines (sometimes for a few different projects at once) has also become something I am more than capable of achieving.

In my spare time I really enjoy illustrating using vector based software like Illustrator and Flash. I find a real sense of achievement in this at it allows me to be much more creative and explore my own ideas and compositions. I have recently done an illustration for a music artist on a well known record label, Ninja Tunes. I continue to push myself creatively and explore new avenues everyday.
