Dear Sir/Madam,

I noticed an opening for a Junior Writer via indeed and am very interested in filling this vacancy.

I graduated from university in 2013 with a degree in PR and have worked in a marketing/communications role at an IT company for the last year. Given my educational and career background, I'm a confident communicator among all levels and thoroughly enjoy writing exciting, attention-grabbing pieces. Not only am I passionate about writing, I'm just as passionate about the hair and beauty industry. While I enjoy working in communications in the IT sector, I'd love to steer my career in the direction of something that really interests me, and therefore a job that I feel I could contribute to on a deeper level.
