About me

I am a creative designer with twelve years extensive typographic, layout and design experience. I constantly enjoy creating new ways to transmit messages by graphics - producing ideas that make people stop and look. I still also like to draw and, if the opportunity permits, present my ideas in this manner.

My previous work experience entailed:

Meeting clients to discuss the business objectives and requirements of the job

Developing design briefs by gathering information and data through research; thinking creatively to produce new ideas

and concepts

Using innovation to redefine a design brief within the constraints of cost and time

Presenting finalised ideas and concepts to clients

Proofreading to produce accurate and high-quality work

Contributing ideas and design artwork to the overall brief

Keeping abreast of developments in design programmes such as Quark Xpress, FreeHand, Illustrator, Photoshop, In-Design

I am looking for a permanent position however, freelance work would also be welcome as I have my own Mac.
