About me
I have always been a dedicated individual, consistently endeavouring
to complete any task to the full extent of my ability and contributing
a valuable sense of enthusiasm and energy to any situation. Frequently
described as being friendly and open, I have always found it extremely
easy to build rapport with anyone in any circumstances and, with good
diplomatic and communicative abilities, work well in team situations.
The years I have spent thus far and hope to continue to spend working
in the field of design have provided me with invaluable skills and
experiences which, although often challenged by an unfortunate
persistent lack of self-confidence as a result of self-imposed high
standards and perfectionism, I feel are aided by a natural eye for
detail and the visual, and fuelled by an undeniable enthusiasm to learn
and eagerness to please - something which I like to think makes
me an effective and hopefully potentially beneficial part of any
working team or environment.
As well as pursuing my interests in art and design, I am self-taught
guitar player, have a vested interest in films and console games and
enjoy simple leisurely activities like walking my dog and swimming,
cycling and archery when possible. I have attained basic levels of both
kickboxing and general self-defence techniques with Seal Lung Martial
Arts School and have a keen interest in issues of animal welfare and
conservation, being a member of the UK Wolf Conservation Trust in
Reading, where I have in the past participated in “Wolf
Walks” with animals and their handling team, as well conferences
and charity team events, and continue to visit as regularly as I am
able.
