I believe this role to be highly suitable for the combination of both my degree subject and my intense knowledge and interest in producing thought-provoking and creative content alongside my strong communicative skills. I am a problem solver with excellent organisational abilities and have a highly analytical approach to any and all workplace issues. This is a brilliant opportunity for me to develop my existing qualities and knowledge of marketing and content creation.

I am a remarkable candidate for this role as I am an enthusiastic and dedicated worker with a strong understanding and insight for the media market, along with its social platforms such as Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. This knowledge is evident through the managing of my own style Instagram account that has allowed me to learn creative skills, both in the production of content and how to appeal to a wider online audience and drive online engagement. I am aware of how to identify key seasonal trends and also have the ability to work efficiently as part of a team, therefore, reflecting my critical eye that is crucial within this role. This social media account has also allowed me to develop my communicative skills and therefore I have a sophisticated and polished approach to professional relationships and has taught me valuable marketing experience. Through writing for the fashion department in my University magazine Quench, I have also perfected my ability to write conversational and engaging copy for both online and print resources. I also have experience writing for the features team on both the University magazine and newspaper, resulting in my ability to create interesting and concise articles that relate to a wide readership. These examples also present my understanding of the appropriate language to use online in order to grab the attention of users. Alongside this experience, I also have set up and released my own personal lifestyle blog. I created the site from scratch and therefore am able to present an example of my ability to make a bespoke and personal site that relates to a specific product or brand.

I also have experience working within a busy PR company as an assistant, this role has allowed me to develop my knowledge of both Microsoft and Adobe suite and CMS platforms. I also have perfected skills in news-jacking and how to converse with members of the media alongside creating media and influencer strategy lists for lifestyle and consumer clients.

Ultimately, I believe I am suitable for this position due to my high organisational and creative skills, as well as my passion for giving thought-provoking and highly critical content that would allow me to thrive in this role.
