About me
I have worked in print production for approximately 7 years, first starting in ING Australia. When starting my role in Australia, there initially had been no trafficking/workflow role, it was created for me in which my manager helped mentor me and where I had regular meetings with the account manager to improve processes. I learned how to traffic work through the studio using their strengths and talents, as well as picking up how to use the software they use so I can estimate how long a job will take. I was also sent to printing companies to learn the behind the scenes of the steps in the printing processes. After coming to England, I have been able to utilise my skills in a couple of companies which has brought me my current position at MBA Advertising Agency as Production Manager, where my first year was to look after the studio workflow, printing, media plans, pitch projects and weekly status meetings. I now manage a production assistant who helps with the studio while I am looking after the digital team and learning best practices as I progress.
