Dear Sirs,

I would like to apply for the position of Studio / Traffic Manager and have attached my CV in support.

I have recently held the position of Studio/ Production Manager at Brunswick Studios in West London where I ran a film/photographic studio, managed an equipment rental service and managed an events venue. In my short time there I succeeded in increasing the turnover attracting clients such as Disney, Charlotte Tilbury, Touch Productions and Dennis Film. Unfortunately events conspired against me and I was only able to continue my employment for 3 months before I had to resign for financial reasons.

Previously I gained several years experience in freelance roles such as 1st and 2nd runner, 1st AD and camera assistant for various production companies. I have also collaborated in some documentary projects as well as producing my own short documentary series.

I gained a degree from the NCCA in Bournemouth where I studied Computer Animation Arts where the pipeline production format was employed to a great extent and in which team work, co-operation and working to a tight deadline was vital. I specialised in compositing where I could put my eye for visual detail and colour to good use. I also utilised the University's film production facilities to produce my own "Innovative" film using green screen keying principals and several willing volunteers.
