About me
My name is Jenna El-komboz. I am an enthusiastic and hardworking individual and I am very passionate about every aspect of fashion.
I have just completed a BA Fashion Degree at Ravensbourne College, where I specialised in printed textiles for fashion and I have gained a lot of experience working with different fabrics and prints and applying them to the body.
The course allowed me to develop my presentational skills to a high level and expand my knowledge of pattern cutting and designing for such a fast paced and competitive industry.
I have had several internships with various designers where I have gained new skills and experience working in a professional fashion environment.
While internng with Giles Deacon I participated in a lot of hand embroidery, which
gave me the skills to create a lot of embroidery pieces in my final collection.
I get a lot of my inspiration from travelling and seeing fashion around the world.
I thoroughly enjoy creating fashion illustrations using paints and inks and I feel that drawing is one of my strengths. I am able to show my ideas this way through mark making.
I have an in depth knowledge of digital print as well as screen print and I am confident in gaining a job in this line of work.
I have worked alongside my degree in numerous customer service roles, including bar work, waitressing and retail.
I have a polite, confident and freindly personality, I am a fast learner; I enjoy a challenge and I would be extremely grateful to have the opportunity to work with your company.
