Dear Loop Digital Media,

I have read your advertisement for a Creative Magazine Designer with great interest as I believe that my skills and qualifications match your requirements for this position. I enjoyed reading about your current titles, and I am certain I could fit in well with your team and provide added support for these media. I am extremely passionate about print and digital media, and believe that the growing number of households with tablets will increase the amount of digital media produced and sold.

I would welcome the chance to apply the skills and knowledge I have gained while working as an Art Editor to your vacancy and I feel my abilities would prove to be an asset to Loop Digital Media. Currently I am employed with Craft Magazine Shop as an Art Editor, and look after the layout and design of all of their magazines and bookazines. I am responsible for creating the pages throughout the month and preparing the print files ready to be sent off for printing once finished. Seeing as Craft Magazine Shop is a small family run business my daily tasks are very varied. I will help in any parts of the business that I can, and have commissioned and edited work, as well as packaging printed copies for subscribers.

I am able to work under pressure with tight deadlines while ensuring my work is produced at the highest level. I have extensive experience designing magazine content and covers, as well as adverts, websites and flyers, and always make sure my work is of the highest quality and to the best of my ability.
