About me
I graduated with Middlesex University validated Bachelors Degree in Interactive Animation and Diploma in Animation and Multimedia from Lim Kok Wing University, I had the privilege in honing my skills, working in several studios based in countries such as Japan, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia etc, working on games, commercial, TV series and feature film productions. My range of responsibilities over the years includes:
- Animation Supervisor for "The Garfield Show" season 3 and Disney's "Ella the Elephant".
= Character Animator for several international high-end projects and media such as feature films 'Sheep & Wolves', 'Snow Queen 3: Fire and Ice' from Russia, "Kung Food" and "Monkey Magic" from China, as well as the new released "Pokemon Mewtwo Strikes Back Evolution" from Japan.
- I also worked as Remote Animators on several projects mentioned above (feature film 'Sheep & Wolves', 'Snow Queen 3: Fire and Ice', and 'Monkey Magic'), Tv commercial, as well as long form series such as Talking Tom Shorts (Include recent Halloween version), Taina and the Amazon's Guardians, and Disney's Dino Aventuras.
- Lead animator cum layout artist for anime series "The Snack World" from Netflix and Disney series "Oddbods".
- Trainer for interns and junior animators to bring their skills up to required standard.
With years of production experience as Animation Supervisor, Character Animator and Trainer in various media, I also find time to further my skills by joining online animation class such as Ianimate and attend Masterclass and talks held by renowned artists.
Working as remote and on-site animators have trained me very well in being self-directed in terms of delivering the intended feel, and to be adaptive to different animation styles ranging from realistic to cartoony. Thus, it has also trained me well to work effectively under tight schedules.
As a team player, I am opened to feedback and critics from director, designers and peers, and willingly communicate for better solution in visual or technical aspects.
