About me
I am an Edinburgh based photographer specializing in images for the leisure and hospitality industry with a side line in social portraiture and an intense passion for art photography.
After a successful, 15 year career as a hospitality manager I moved into photography to follow a passion for fine art. I have pursued opportunities in the business I know and love, hospitality and food, and continue to create fine art images for exhibition. I have become a more than competent portrait photographer over the years, using the interpersonal skills I honed as a manager to get the most out of the people I photograph.
I am always looking for the next big challenge and only feel I am progressing if I am slightly out of my depth. In these situations, where I have to be a creative problem solver, I believe I create my best work and as a bonus develop my skills as a photographer, artist and person.
