About me

Since starting at DreamWorks Animation in 2018, I have moved through the ranks of production, now overseeing story and editorial departments on three simultaneous features, and a short, all in various stages of production. I have gained experience managing large teams of artists across multiple shows, each with its own specific production needs, whether it be original or franchise driven, feature length or made-for-streaming short, animated in-house or sourced to a vendor studio. This growth has been a testament to my creative taste, communication skills, positive and professional attitude, and ability to foresee multiple tasks coming down the pipeline at once. As the animation spa continues to expand its reach, I believe that my diverse experience and skill set lends itself perfectly to an industry that requires increasing versatility, and would make me an asset to the company.

Working in the front end of production (story, script, editorial, art) for the past three years, I have mastered the hard skills required to manage those departments and gained a deep understanding of the core of family entertainment production. I am constantly inspired by the creative side of family entertainment just as much as the business side. From participating in development brainstorms, executive reviews, preview screening roundtables, and discussions with promotional partners and toymakers, I have had a front row seat to the complexities of wide-reaching entertainment production.
With an educational background in Comparative Literature and Visual Arts, my understanding of visual storytelling and the creative progress allows me to connect with and manage artists highly successfully. My background in literature has given me a strong sense of story structure, which has endeared me to the creative leadership that I have worked under. During my time with the Trolls creative team, I have proven my passion for storytelling and entertainment development, and earned the respect of my directors and producers, often participating in story brainstorms and script punch-ups as someone who can be trusted to help guide a conversation. This background makes me an asset to any creative production team, where having a deep understanding and commitment to storytelling is the defining characteristic.
