That's how J Carsandas describes himself as a DJ. Never afraid to go too deep, his emotive musical selections are his own therapy. Having grown up on tour with his father, a band member of a Portuguese Latin, Afro & Asian music group all of which became infused with his own love for both urban and pop sounds, Carsandas ended up with quite a mixed spectrum of musical influence.

Today, this translates into sets where he picks apart and infuses together all the pieces of the music that he loves best: great drum mixes, energy building drops, FX blends, and mid mix scratches... all on top of his highly energetic character that always jumps and dances with the crowd!

A active contributor to the growing urban UK music scene, Carsandas is no stranger to the wins and loses in this controversial industry, he played Trap, Urban British Sounds as well as European & Latin music in clubs long before any commercial artists emerged from these genres into the charts, he is a true supporter of music as an art form.

Though he loves playing in nightclubs and concerts his love for music goes beyond the spectrum of mixing tracks. As a drummer, artist, a producer and promoter, he has found plenty of ways to express himself musically.
