About me

My name is Jayne and I'm a freelance textile designer and illustrator working from Sydney, Australia. With over a decade of experience in the design industry and working as a freelance artist no job is too big or small!

With employment experience working with international and local design studios, retail brands, textile mills and wholesalers, my insight into the design industry is comprehensive. Taking initial concept to completion, my design style combines analogue and digital mediums from paint and pencil to CAD (Photoshop and Illustrator) and product development.

My design process begins with initial pattern and colour trend research by taking inspiration from fashion, travels and my favourite blogs and websites. With this inspiration I then generate original yardage patterns and placements prints, combining hand drawn and painted techniques with computer aided design.
