About me

My name is Jay Battini, I am a Digital Animation Specialist graduate BA-Hons- 2:1 (first division) from Thames Valley University, Ealing, London.

I have been making 2d, 3d and mixed media animations with Flash, After-effects, Maya and Premiere throughout my 5 year study period; I use all of the above software's in conjunction with Photoshop.

Since my graduation in September, I have worked part time for a student TV channel (*) on 3D AND 2D idents, logos, editing, flyers, e shot's compressing and uploading videos and images for the web page etc.

Making complex compositions with elements from Photoshop, 3D, 2D, Dv footage, audio etc, I can produce original graphics and animation.

Through, my knowledge of action scripting/lingo/html/mel, and programming in general is a bit limited.

However, I am a self learner and should be able to catch up on these elements where necessary.

I consider myself to be a pre production / post production "3D generalist" with potential to be further trained in any specific role in these areas such as:

Concept / design / storyboarding

Modelling

Rigging

Texturing

Animation

Lighting setup

Dynamics

Compositing
