About me

My name is Javier Otero, a Creative Director and Graphic Designer based in Gijón (Asturias), working with international clients.

I have developed most of my career in London () as a freelancer, specializing in branding, editorial design, digital, and motion graphics. Recently, I have also begun working with generative AI video creation applied to brand campaigns.

I am fluent in English and also have experience in audiovisual production, sound, and leading creative teams on projects for studios, publishers, cultural institutions, and large companies.

In 2012, I was awarded Best Graphic Designer in the UK travel industry (The Business Travel Journalism Awards), and I was a finalist in subsequent years.
