About me

I´m Spanish originally, and I came to UK to collaborate in a web development project sponsored by Spanish Government that have just finished. I think the chance to work in a London company and have the opportunity to share proffesional experiences is really important for my career and my personal development.

I designed a website as a cover letter and resume, telling you my motivations and skills to apply for a frontend developer position. This web has been developed using html5, css3, php and jquery scripts to get visual fxs. As you can see in my website, I am also skilled at SEO, SEM and CMS. I attach as well 2 websites that I have developed recently, since I came to UK, as a sample of my work. Both of them were designed from scratch with photoshop, coded with notepad++ as editor, and they are wordpress sites, the first one is an e-commerce site using an e-commerce plugin for wordpress called woo commerce:

The other one is a hotel website with a testimonial plugin, and it uses jquery scripts to get the slideshows and lightboxes. It has also a form with a php validation coded by myself.

I try to apply best practices in every work I face, aplying W3C standard guidelines for web applications, and bearing in mind cross browsing guarantee. I work on SEO optimisation for google, and I use CSS techniques to reduce resources applied to the DOM. I don´t forget checking usability and accesibility in every design.
