As CEO and Chief Creative Officer at VML South Africa, Jason drives a diverse group of professionals to deliver creative, fully-integrated work including digital, mobile, identity design, branded content, and more.
Jason is an accomplished entrepreneur whose impressive creative ventures span all areas of media, from film and TV to music and the internet. He's been a driving force as an interactive agency founder, CEO, award-winning commercial and film director, founder of a branded entertainment agency, and co-founder of a production company.
Before NATIVE, Jason served for years as Executive Creative Director at Y&R South Africa, where he played a vital role in winning several major accounts.
Since NATIVE became a part of the VML global network in 2013, Jason has helped the agency win a host of local and international awards, and led us to earn a ranking in the Top 5 Large Agencies at the Loerie Awards in 2014, while also winning a total of 9 awards, two of them gold.
He is actively involved in the industry serving on the Creative Circle EXCO and the IAB SA Agency Committee. Recently, Jason was crowned All Africa Entrepreneur of the Year at the annual CNBC All Africa Business Leaders Awards, which honors remarkable leadership and business game changers. Jason also regularly judges local and international award shows including Loeries, Andy, Webby, New York Festivals and the Creative Circle.
