About me

I have six years graphic design/photograpic experience working at The Sheffield College, one of the largest FE Colleges in Europe. My role as as Senior Designer involes taking briefs from internal clients, distributiong this work to a team of 4 designers and one administartion support memeber of staff and making sure that work is completed to deadlines and within budget. As Senior Designer I am responisble for getting all of the College's major publications ready for print. Setting up templates, gathering information and copy, liasing with the College's press officer for latest stories, design, photography and print buying. This has given me a very hands on role to design allowing me to take projects through from initial brief to completition. I am also responsible for the College's webiste, working in conjuction with the Systems Analyst to to develop a site based within the College's CMS which is maintainable within the College's meagre resources.

Having initally studied 3D Design, I have moved in to the graphics area., however this former experience allowed me to develop good problem solving skills and to be able to tackle any project and bring it to completition.
