About me

My name is Jason Shephard and II have recently completed my degree at Nottingham Trent University where I studied Furniture and Product Design.

I am skilled in the use of many design packages including Autocad, SolidWorks, 3D Studio Max, Photoshop, Indesign and Illustrator. I have excellent model making skills and am able to produce and develop design solutions quickly and effectively through sketch models and sketch work.

During my time spent on placement working at Inside Out Contracts Ltd I have had a variety of job roles, all of which have required me to work as part of a team and to deal directly with clients and suppliers. I have a keen eye for detail and a good understanding of technical and manufacturing processes as demonstrated by the production of fully realised design prototypes in my final year.

During the final year of my degree I successfully managed to organise my time in order to complete three projects, to do some free lance design work and I was responsible for the design and production of our final year brochure.

I am looking forward to forging a succesful career within the design industry and am looking for my first role since completing my degree.
