About me

I'm a well-presented, personable, articulate and very friendly worker. Degree educated, I initially studied to work in Film/TV before qualifying as a High School Teacher. Although I thrived in the professional environment of schools in Australia and in the UK, demonstrating organisational skills and the ability to engage with various stakeholders, I am looking for a career change in order to break-free of the classroom. My IT skills are also a strength as evidenced by my training in Film/TV and having spent many years teaching IT to final year high school students. Before qualifying as a High School Teacher, I worked at DisneyWorld in Florida and developed strong interpersonal skills and customer relations experience. In my career as a Teacher spanning 7 years, first at Lyndhurst Secondary College and Albert Park College in Melbourne, Australia and then at Ursuline Academy in Ilford, I was a key member of the Teaching team and drove curriculum development projects. I am looking for a change of career that will ensure close contact with other professionals and working in a collegiate environment.
