About me

I truly believe that I'm a great designer in the making, I feel as though I've really earned my way to the position I'm in today through dedication, passion and hard work. It is my dream to work alongside such talented and passionate people, this fills me with excitement. I would love to work with bigger clients and brands as I feel I need this to further improve myself.

From an early age I have been fascinated by visual communication, with the ability to convey not just flagrant, but subliminal, messages that can capture ones imagination, influence emotions and feelings and provoke an action. I firmly believe design isn't just a pretty picture; it has to work, has to be effective and has to deliver results. I strive to give the client a solution that will benefit or improve their business, appeal to their target audience, improve their bottom line, inspire and exceed expectations.

I have a deep creative mind, I never stop analysing design, or how something could be improved to make the user experience more exciting and productive, it feels as if that has always been there. I'm constantly thinking of boundaries within a chosen media and how they can be manipulated or bent to allow something that usually isn't possible, possible. I consistently take it upon myself to explore all areas of possibilities when designing or conceptualising and thinking ‘outside the box' is a necessity.

I've always found myself fitting seamlessly within teams. Working with other like-minded and talented people is something I would love to be a part of and would consider myself privileged to be a part of. I love the team feel, bouncing ideas off each other and taking the time to understand how people think and work.

I'm technically proficient, I understand and take in to consideration the restrictions and limitations of the chosen media and work around those. I believe it's important to understand how something works so you can better understand what's possible and adapt to that. I've been using adobe programs for over 10 years now on both Macintosh and PC platforms. I have a good understanding of HTML, CSS and I'm also able to code and develop within these myself.

I believe the key to a successful business is client retention. I strive to exceed expectations and keep the client happy. This I believe keeps clients coming back time after time, this is when great relationships are formed. I'm used to sticking to tight deadlines and budgets and can easily manage my time and work accordingly. I'm able to comfortably manage multiple projects as I have first-hand, daily experience of this.
