About me

Allow me to introduce myself my name is Jason Brown.

I am a highly adaptive individual that induces education to become a professional habit; I am always learning and make my effort to-do so whatever environment I may be in. It shapes me as an individual and constantly filters down to shape my work.

My skills start with the adobe creative suite CS5 as standard, with the abundance of technical skill in the industry and with ease of learning any computer program, I appreciate conceptual way of thought more so, my portfolio delivers a snapshot of this.

I am a technician of craft first and foremost, my work style is diverse. I prefer working with my hands than digitally but I am too a crafter of interaction - I specialize in After Effects for demonstrating such digital interactions, which can be applied to any form of interface, web and tablet media. But skill compliments speed of use and allows me to demonstrate working mock-ups for clients to communicate masterfully.

Throughout my life I have had a passion for colour, my last name only reinforces that. I love bright colours but of course visual choice always has meaning just like a choice of media to express in, this is something I hold at the core of the physicality of my work.

My creative nature comes from a diverse background and history of the arts and crafts in my family, which has taught me to appreciate old techniques along side. With a strong social connection to a multi-disciplined friendship group in the industry (and freelancers) has aided to creative curiosity of different (and fresh) ways of thinking.

Culture creates balance between my life and work - although undeniably I made and continue to make Design my life, absorbing culture around me gives me balance and inspiration to draw upon from other fields of society.
