National Account Manager (Morrisons)

Procter and Gamble is the World's largest FMCG organisation, with 22 $bn brands and a turnover of over $60bn in 2006. As a National Account Manager I Manage the Morrisons Account, managing their product mix and strategically growing the accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

- Managing a portfolio of 120 Products across 16 international Brands worth £26m to the P&G Business.

- I am accountable for building the Joint Business Plan and executing within my Account to drive turnover, sales and deliver against total P&G & Morrisons aligned targets.

- I am responsible for strategically growing the Hair Care Category within the Morrisons Business - I am Accountable for implementing New Product Development, Marketing Strategies and executing promotional activity on time and within budget.

- Work with Global Brand Teams to formulate strategies that will leverage brands within account through advertising and media copy.

- Forecasting and monitoring account volume and liasing with internal teams to meet demand planning requirements, as well as Strategic Analysis and Project Management.

- Planning fiscal promotions and managing a £6m development budget to strategically grow the account whilst adhering to company promotional guidelines.

- Building collaborative and sustainable relationships with my Accounts, Senior Buyers and Trading Directors in order to grow category value and profit.

Key Achievements:

- I have delivered the first National Hair Care Event across all Brands that I implemented across the entire Morrisons estate, this delivered and incremental 15% Turnover vs. Year Ago.

- I Project Managed a Store Format and Product Range proposal that has recently been accepted by Morrisons - this has led to 23 incremental Product Listings across the entire Health and Beauty Category, increased P&G share and is forecast to deliver 20% sales growth across the entire Category 07/08.

National Account Manager

Key Responsibilities:

- Managing customers including Semi-Chem, Poundstretcher, M&S Toiletries, Kwiksave and B&Q to deliver over £8.5m revenue to the business

- The first NAM to Implement a Promotional Strategy with M&ST Wholesale and secure ongoing listings delivering an incremental £450,000 profit annually to P&G.

- First NAM to negotiate a Core Range in B&Q for UK and Western Europe - Forecast of an incremental £4M.

- Liasing with Poundstretcher to purchase direct and agree a full range review gaining new listings within the Fabric and Homecare Category, forecast to deliver an incremental £850,000 of revenue to P&G in 2007.

Operations Manager

City Holdings is one of the UK's fastest growing independent businesses, with a turnover exceeding £216m and employing over 10,000 people. The company is a leading provider of facilities management and building maintenance services to multi site ASDA Operations.

- After completing an 18 month Graduate Operations Management Scheme, I Managed a multi-site of seven ASDA Stores as an Operations Manager.

- I Managed a Facilities teams with over 100 members of staff and a direct team of twelve multi-skilled Site Managers/ Engineers. I managed budgets, KPI's and customer relationships with our Global Retail Client.

- I successfully improved the KPI performance of all seven stores and managed a £3m Renewal Project of the largest site in the UK, whilst Project Managing several Contractors

I have managed various projects and teams in the Commercial, Finance and Human Resources departments as a Project Manager. I reported directly to the Managing Director and Head of Contract.

Project Manager - Commercial

- I Managed The National Maintenance of Petrol Filling Stations, being the direct link between Petrol Trading at ASDA House and Retail Operations, solving live issues with contractors and suppliers and managing our client's £3m Budget and KPI's

- I devised ASDA George / Living Stores costing models and produced Hard and Soft Facilities Management service strategies for 2006, liaising with Store Development and ASDA Senior Teams as well as negotiating costings and contracts with suppliers and national service providers.

Project Manager - Finance

I defined and managed project scope, deliverables, schedules, budgets and KPIs as well providing a link to ASDA Store Development. I also managed several projects and their teams taking them from concept to successful national implementation.

- I managed an asset renewal / purchasing strategy along with a project team, with a main emphasis on buying and negotiating with national suppliers. After full implementation we reduced total overspends of £2m on the ASDA business

- I was involved in a Financial Project Management role, where I reviewed the Profit and Loss plan and presented cost reduction strategies for 2005/06 across the ASDA Business

Project Coordinator

As a Project Coordinator I managed several Retail Projects simultaneously. I was responsible for projects that involved maximising business efficiency by reducing operating costs within ASDA.

Design Awards - Whilst at university, I obtained valuable experience in Product Development. I have successfully designed a range of products and furniture, which I have manufactured, marketed, and sold myself worldwide. I have worked as a freelance Design Writer for a company called *.

INTERESTS

I enjoy swimming, golf, and running and have represented my County at Rugby and Tennis. I regularly exhibit at National Design Exhibitions with a range of Products & Furniture that I have designed and manufactured Worldwide.
