About me

Latifa is an Algerian artist with a background in Architecture and a mom to two beautiful daughters. She is the founder of Jasmine Blooms Designs, a creative studio she has built over the past four years into her own little world of patterns and illustrations.

She loves incorporating aspects of storytelling into her work and licensing it across multiple industries, from textiles and wallpaper to stationery, apparel and tech accessories. Her style is a blend of whimsical florals, playful animals, and a sprinkle of color that brings joy, sweetness, and charm. At the same time, her work is highly versatile and adaptable to each client's vision. Having worked across multiple industries with different design needs and audiences, she is able to adjust her style and creative approach to suit a wide range of briefs, whether the direction calls for something soft and playful, refined and elegant, or trend-driven and commercial.

Her favorite way of creating is digitally, and she especially enjoys building motifs and patterns in Procreate. She is also proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator, which allow her to bring both flexibility and precision to her design process. From time to time, she also loves unwinding with watercolor painting.

In addition to her creative work, Latifa has freelance experience and enjoys working closely with client briefs, carefully listening to their direction and translating their ideas into thoughtful designs. She is attentive, reliable, and detail-oriented, always aiming to create work that aligns with the client's needs while delivering on time and with care.

Alongside licensing her artwork, she has also developed a library of digital products specifically designed for surface designers, available through her online shop. She is passionate about helping other artists and creating resources that make the surface design journey and art-making process easier and more enjoyable.
