About me

My extensive education has thoroughly prepared me to pursue a career in the gaming industry as I have become accustomed to regularly using complex software such as 3DS Max, Bryce, Poser, Photoshop and Adobe Premiere Pro. For my masters project I adequately imitated the physical and mythological world through animation, more specifically architectural and landscape design which involved the use of creating textures in Photoshop from photographic reference to apply on to environmental models. My skill set has developed through creating atmospheric lighting; high and low poly modelling, 3D set designs from sketches and building fantastical landscapes.

Despite my academic prowess, I have consolidated my desires to pursue a career within this competitive industry due to my passion for racing, strategy and MMORPG games. Such interests have led to my undertaking of professional work placements within companies, in which I gained vast experience with producing 3D concept models, usability tested software and hardware and learnt communication, organisational skills and database management, thus allowing me to put my academic abilities to use.

Studying as a full time student enabled me to acquire new diligent skills, such as keeping to deadlines, working to tight schedules and organising work. When working independently I am able to articulate my ideas and fully utilise my creative imagination to solve problems. Similarly in a team environment I am able to delegate a command structure whilst ensuring the set work is completed with intense detail. This independent enthusiasm and determination has been fuelled by my desire to succeed, and pursue a career in the media industry
