About me

I am a graphic designer / artist, who has completed a BA (Hons) in Graphic Design
at the University of Teesside, achieving a 2.1 result, and I am keen to gain work related
experience within your company if any opportunity is available.
My reasoning is to gain a greater insight into the areas of client based designs; studio

teamwork; and print design to gain broader practical and professional knowledge
of the design world, through working within your company.
My skills include:

• IT experience: A confident user Adobe Creative Suite versions 1, 2 and 3, including knowledge of InDesign Photoshop, Flash, After Effects and Illustrator, using these both for student related work and personal projects. Competent knowledge of Microsoft Office and developing skills within Cinema 4D and Dreamweaver.

• Design skills: A very creative and intuitive approach to designing, including exhibition of work within Shandy Hall, Yorkshire, V&A student illustrator website recognition, Chartered Society of Designers Commendation and work experience within a Video Games Company working on 3 Nintendo Wii games.

• Responsibilities: D&AD Student Representative for design within University
of Teesside and Student Representative for my 2nd and 3rd year.

• Consumer service skills: Part-time experience of telephone related sales, contacting customers and dealing with enquiries on a regular basis. General maintenance of shop, till operation and working within set time limits for commission based sales.
