About me
I'm Iowa-raised but London-based since 2018.
My photographic practice spans street photography, portraiture, critical documentary work, and experimenting with emerging photographic technologies.
Since 2024 I have been researching and documenting the use of facial recognition systems in London.
I was supported by Arts Council England's Developing Your Creative Practice Grant (2024) for a period of R&D to experiment and developing methods for 3D documentary photography using Gaussian Splats.
By combining documentary photography with cutting-edge 3D Gaussian Splat technology, I am creating immersive visual records of state & corporate live facial recognition systems in London.
I want to know if 3D documentary photography might preserve not just images of a place being surveilled, but something of the experience, and allow the audience——at a later date——to flip the power dynamic and become the watcher instead of the watched.
