Hello, my name is Jared Jones.

My main area of interest is modelling characters, vehicles etc, but I enjoy the total process of producing the finished scene.

I obtained an MA in computer animation back in 2003. I have never lost the passion to continue to improve my skills and learn new things when it comes to my 3d artwork. I am also a fine art painter and have sold various paintings in oils. When I think of a 3d project, I like to sketch the scenes out before hand to get a feel for the look and composition of the piece. I have studied and spent some time working as a photographer and that experience has given me valuable training and taught me to look more critically at my own work, to become more objective. As A child I would spend many hours making models out of wood and plastic and now with my photographic experience and drawing abilities I can apply them to my virtual 3d environments. I would love to work as a 3d artist, to help build the environments and objects also characters and vehicles. I have experience working as a 3d artist for a company called Amita Telekommunikation Gmbh, making 3d models of their telephones for the elderly. To have the chance to work in a stimulating environment with like minded individuals is a dream and something I will always work towards.

Currently I am not employed and would be available for work at any time with little notice. I am prepared to relocate I do have a car and have a driving licence.
