About me

At that at this point a trademarked Chemistry based board game I have designed is under negotiation through my agent Gamesplay Uk. I am following this with a Biology based game by the end of the year.

I have worked as both a designer and with students who are experiencing difficulty in knowledge acquisition. The work I have done developing a chemistry board/card game is totally congruent with my desire to help children access education through positive experiences. Changing the way children around the world learn and building core academic skills through engaging their individual curiosity is critical and something I am passionate about. I have been creating math games appropriate to National Curriculum expectations to illustrate and explore math concepts.

This approach allows individuals to progress at their personal challenge pace. This encourages personal confidence in their own progress, pride and ownership of their own journey. These are essential elements for effective engagement in life learning.

My working experiences dovetail with academic experts to initiate, develop and specify attractive game designs that blend playability with effective teaching and practice.

I am also collaborating on a walking tour book of Oxford in partnership with a photographer.

When I was working for Geo. Bassett and Co I designed on pack games and activities for low / no cost added value to their range of products as well as for their clients, these were both seasonal and AYR.

I create a range of simple games for my one to one learning support students who have dyscalculia or dyslexia, utilising a broad spectrum of multi-sensorial learning styles and therefore appealing to all sensory dominances. They love the games and take them home to play with their family.
