Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to apply for the role of graphic designer. After reading the job specifications, I feel that my skills and experience could be an asset to your organisation.

Based in central London, I am a graphic designer currently working at Alchemy Worx, Holborn. I graduated at Central Saint Martin's College of Art and Design in 2009, specialising in Graphics, Motion Graphics and Animation. Before my current job, I had completed a work placement at Spinefarm Records, Universal Music and Lightning and Kingleyface, London. I have had some graphics job experience in Hong Kong, including working for Cartoon Network and Dream Cortex, as well as experience in print, web design, digital and hand-drawn illustration, photo-re-touching, making props, making short films, flash animation and music videos. Apart from the software mentioned above, I am also fluent in Photoshop, Illustrator, CorelPainter, InDesign etc. While I have all the basic knowledge of web design, I spare no effort in enriching my technical skills by attending a web design course at the London School of Computer Education. In terms of language, apart from English, I am proficient in Chinese and spoken Mandarin and Cantonese.

I am a highly committed person, and a quick learner who work efficiently, creatively and co-operatively within an organisation. I have also acquired experience in leading teams in completing projects. I constantly received commendatory feedback from various tutors at college and co-workers at my previous jobs. With my competency and most readiness to contribute, I am confident I can meet with your job requirements and expectations.
