About me

During my time at University I have shown my creative skills on a range of challenging briefs, from initial ideas to final concepts within set deadlines.

In my final year research project I investigated 'The off plan buying of new apartments and how they are marketed' 'Exploring how the designer creates an impression that appeals to the public's aspirations making them want to invest in that development before it is built.' I arranged meetings and interviews with senior management within the design and visualisation company 'Uniform' and the design and architecture company 'Shed Km' This gave me the opportunity to meet industry professionals within their working environment and gain their views on the subject.

I am fully Mac literate and competent in Photoshop, Illustator and Quark Express.

I am a confident person and I find it easy meeting people. I can take responsibility and have leadership skills; I am able to analyse and make decisions by applying my knowledge and can use effective communication working with others or under my own initiative. I have experience of time and task management in producing work within deadlines. I have had to use these course skills in my work and life experience while I have been on placements and at university with the work that I have successfully completed.
