About me

I am a recent graduate of a BA (Hons) Graphic Communication degree and looking for employment within the creative industry. I have spent my higher education years developing

a range of different skills and now I'm looking forward to putting them to the test in a real working environment.

I am confident in articulating my ideas through from concept to final design using whatever method best suited for the job, as well as also being keen to keep learning new ways to increase my skills.

In my spare time I love to draw and I'm constantly inventing new characters and refining my illustration style as well as creating new letter forms to coincide with my designs.

Sector Experience

Design Placement at Elmwood Design, Leeds. Involved working alongside the Art Director and other studio designers to come up with design solutions to the briefs presented to me, for example, re-designing business cards and comp slips for a live clients. 2009, Craven Jewellers, Leeds., Worked in workshop and in retail. Contributed in jewellery making and design. 2009, Design work for Craven Jewellers, Leeds., Created sub-brand name and logo (Beloved) and ad campaign along with brand style guide and packaging guide. The brand is now running successfully within the company with views of further expansion. 2011, Design work for Creative Protege, Co-operated with a client to create a promotional flyer and informational programme which was then brought to print and used to advertise the client’s event. 2012
