About me

Hello there! I am a Media and Communications graduate with a passion for entertainment, travel, and culture.

I have experience in film production, volunteering my services for a number of projects both in and out of university. I absolutely love video editing and feel at home in Adobe Premiere Pro, as well as having experience with other Adobe softwares like Photoshop and InDesign.

I have a passion for history and art, regularly attending exhibitions and films on the two. I was even a history prefect at secondary school: very cool, I know.

Through endless group work projects at university I know I can motivate myself to complete deadlines ahead of schedule, as well as making sure other members if my team are also on track. If nothing else, university taught me that I know how to successfully juggle multiple tasks and turn situations around when things don't go to plan.

Working as a barista gave me an a drive to complete tasks as soon as possible all while staying cool under pressure, multitasking, and keeping up a conversation with customers. Plus, I make a halfway decent flat white, and a very decent espresso.

Working for mental health charities has given me real insight into what many people are struggling with on a daily basis, and with that, a drive to help. My time working with charities also taught me how valuable a story can be when delivered appropriately; it is so important for people to know they aren't alone. Media is key in delivering these messages to others, to help not only raise awareness, but to grant solace to those suffering through similar.

I have common sense, I'm an excellent communicator in both written and verbal formats, I'm organised, creative, and calm under pressure. I have a good sense of humour and I know how to talk to people. Most importantly, I really care about completing whatever I'm working on to the best of my ability.
