About me

I am a lively and outgoing person and I enjoy taking on new challenges. I am a quick learner and have great ambition to learn new skills. Studying graphics for the past five years has made me realise how important graphics and visual language is to todays society. Given the chance I hope my design style can also be communicated effectively to the world.

My computer and Mac skills are of a high standard: I am very capable of using Microsoft Office and programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Maya. I also have some experience editing film and animation using Director, Flash, After Effects and SoundBooth. As for web editing I have basic knowledge of Adobe Dreamweaver and Immediacy. Likewise my literacy and numeracy abilities are very good. Most of the work I produce is digital, often using a combination of Photoshop and Illustrator. Some of my freelance designs are highly published featuring on a web site. I am a very creative person, whose passions includes; image making, branding, illustration, moving image and typography. I also think I am a bright and enthusiastic person and when it comes to my work, I will concentrate on nothing else and give any project 110% effort and dedication.

Whilst at college and university there has been many times where I have worked in groups, from groups of 15 to small groups of 2. I also have a lot of experience in presenting work in a team and also on my own. I have presented work in front of companies such as BBH. This requires a good level of communication skills, verbal and written. I can also work very well individually as I have my own style of working, which enables me to keep myself organised and on track. It is important when working independently that you manage your time effectively and I always keep to strict deadlines. I am an extremely hard worker and committed to every challenge I am set, whether that be individually or in a team.
