About me
My passion lies in leading design teams in the creation of delightful, simple and engaging user experiences across multiple platforms, brands and hardware form factors.
I have been leading teams in delivering these experiences for consumers across the world for the last 20 years.
Since 2002 my role has focused on entertainment user experiences, primarily on mobile platforms for Spotify and Nokia. I have been leading teams in a fast and innovative design and engineering environment, where we specialise in using agile methodologies for the creation of software applications.
I graduated in 1996 with a product design degree. I left with a specific knowledge of 3D computer design and started experimenting with how this could combine on the internet within a startup company. I moved to London and founded a new media company where we innovated with web and wap mobile experiences, winning two Yell awards in 2000.
My move to Bristol in 2002 brought about 12 years of roles pioneering interaction design of digital music for web and mobile. These roles saw my progression from leading design teams to becoming the head of design for the Nokia's Entertainment division. In 2015 I took a role in Spotify to lead the design direction of their mobile experiences and relocated to Sweden.
I'm really excited to continue to be challenged, to be a great team leader, to lead design direction and ultimately design the best experience.
