About me

Jamie Jonathan Ball is a young British illustrator currently living and working in London. His work is often concerned with introducing children to travel, encouraging them to explore the world and their imagination through colourful vector graphics. He especially enjoys drawing tropical animals and environments.
He works primarily in ink followed by vector tracing and block colouring, finishing pieces with his vast collection of textures.
Since graduating from the University of Plymouth (2008) with a degree in BA hons Media Arts (First class honours), he has specialised in developing his unique style of Illustration, working as a Creative Content Designer for a leading British Software Company whilst completing various personal and freelance projects. Then working for Del Medio Verlag in Berlin on a series of illustrated children's city guides named "Lilly und Anton entdecken".
