About me
I am an enthusiastic and hard working graphic designer, passionate about the effective use of quality graphic communication on both the printed page and online.
I am currently employed as an in-house graphic designer for an international software company based in Cambridge. I am responsible for the design and layout of corporate literature, website graphics, exhibition stands, graphical user interfaces, print advertising campaigns and PowerPoint presentations. I am also involved with video production for corporate events and exhibitions.
Prior to my current position, before a short stint of temporary freelance work, I undertook a BSc (Hons) in Media Technology at the University of Lincoln where I successfully attained a first class degree. The course enabled me to develop skills in a wide range of multimedia practices - graphic design for print and the Web, CDROM / DVDROM production, video and audio production, 3D modelling and animation - providing a solid and vocational skill set.
I have gained recognition for my work in both an academic and professional capacity. The most recent being a Harvey Communication Award for an advertising campaign for which I was responsible, that featured in several top US publications including the Wall Street Journal, the FT and the Economist.
Finally I would like to add that I am a dedicated, loyal and trustworthy individual with a good attitude to work, both independently and as part of a team.
