About me
I have strong background in writing, producing, directing and video editing. The most recent project I directed, Quiet Desperation, was commissioned by BBC comedy. (*/) I worked with Nick Ball and Jo Sargent on developing this promo into a half hour sitcom for BBC4.
I have written comedy sketches for BBC Radio and worked as a writer for comedian Patrick Monahan for 8 years. During this time I have written original material, produced his monthly vlogs and helped set up and maintain his social networking sites.
Whilst at Adjust Your Set, I came up with original creative content for clients such as Adidas, eHarmony and Marks and Spencer. I also used my scriptwriting skills on projects for British Airways and TalkTalk.
At Pier Productions I was in charge of researching and developing ideas for their TV department and enjoyed the benefits of working within a small team. This meant that I was in charge of writing pitches and proposals for the BBC and coming up with brand new programme ideas.
I have also directed a number of short films and promos with my company 'Fillinlater' *, 'Clever Feather' won the Audience Award for Best Film at the London 48 hour film festival. I have an MA in Screenwriting from the Drama Centre, London which I completed in 2009.
