About me

My name's James Croft. I'm an illustrator from Bristol, UK

I started my design career as a graphic designer and have worked in publishing almost my whole career, so I am no stranger to producing high-quality, print-ready artwork in a professional environment, and interpreting and following client briefs in an illustration capacity.
I have co-founded an online shop called Nostalgi Designs which sells travel prints and portraits, as well as offering a bespoke print commission service. I also produce book illustrations which use the clean style, textures and considered composition of my posters, whilst the character depictions add life through a variety of expressions and gestures to convey a range of emotion or reinforce a certain mood.
