About me
I began as a creative copywriter in the early days of digital, first at Tribal DDB and then Grand Union, where I worked on award-winning campaigns for Sexual Health and the Energy Saving Trust.
At Fallon I built the world's largest party popper for Cadbury, that fired Olympic tickets all over Stratford. I also got over a million people fired up enough about the Olympics to get them attempting to break world records at completely useless activities.
As Associate Creative Director at Dare, I took charge of the BMW account. Creating online launches for the new BMW 2 Series and the i3, BMW's new electric car. I also kickstarted the 'Death to Gio' campaign, by persuading GoCompare to deface their own posters. And in a UK media-first, I replaced an ad break with a 3-minute comedy sketch show to recruit people to an anti-smoking campaign.
I am now Executive Creative Director at Edelman London, where I was part of the Titanium Lion winning team behind DP World's 'Move to -15' - persuading not just DP World to change the temperature of their cold chain logistics, but over 60% of the global shipping industry. I've also won Lions for National Grid's 'Green Light Signal' - an interactive light bulb that told households when their energy supply was running on renewable energy.
I believe creativity should be used to solve problems. Not just highlight them. I also believe creativity should not take itself too seriously and it's important to work with the best people. I once wrote for Kermit the Frog.
