About me
I am a recent graduate from Middlesex University in BA Hons Illustration. I work in a variety of different processes including pen and ink, digital media, watercolour and also various printing techniques such as silk screen and lino. I have mainly concentrated on book jackets, posters, hand made books and children's book illustrations but I am very adaptable and up for a challenge. I hope you enjoy the portfolio and please check out my website. (*)
I have always had a passion for design being inspired by Illustrators such as Quentin Blake, Lucinda Rogers and John Vernon Lord. While being inspired by these works I have matured and developed in my work and changed a great deal in my approach of design whilst at university. I'm used to working to briefs and critiquing my work and others, allowing for constructive opinions and improvements. As well as university I have worked for an interior designer and produced artwork for various volunteer projects including an animation for the Museum of London and more recently an outdoor mural painting for the Ellenor Hospice charity for an children's play area. I have also sold various pieces of work in London and in my home town of Gravesend.
Thank you for your time,
sincerely
