I am writing to apply for the position of Designer. I enclose my C.V. with references available on request.

I look forward to the opportunity of working with you on design and development roles. I believe my strong technical ability and educational background will make me a competitive candidate for this position. The key strengths that I possess for success in this role include:

- I have been involved in live projects, which include designing a micro-kitchen for bespoke kitchen designer Mark Wilkinson and designing an adjustable ergonomic rig for the cockpit layout of the Bloodhound SSC land speed record attempt car. Having worked in numerous other group projects I believe I am a strong team player.

- I have been involved with spatial planning where I have designed an exhibition layout for clients exhibiting at Designersblock London 2010.

- I have designed product concepts using Computer Aided Design, Finite Element Analysis and technical drawing skills in response to product design specifications.

With an upper second-class BSc (Honours) degree in Product Design Technology, I also have an understanding of ergonomics, aesthetics and engineering application.
