Dear Sir or Madam:

I am writing to you with reference to the "Photo Editor" vacancy that you currently have advertised and I have all the required attributes and experience for the role.

I have 4 years editing experience with a leading fashion picture agency, regularly negotiating and distributing images to international companies including Time magazine, Vogue, Harpers Bazaar and The International Herald Tribune.

I have also spent 3 years coordinating numerous editorial and advertising shoots for a number of leading photographers in London. During that period we worked on assignments for The Sunday Times magazine, Mens Health magazine and Cooler magazine. As a result, I have solid knowledge of photographic projects, from brainstorming, researching and honing ideas to managing budgets, editing and retouching.

I have recently returned from spending a year in Vancouver, Canada, where I worked as a studio manager, helping to organize photographic and film productions for clients including Starbucks and The Lab Magazine.

During my 8 years working within the photography industry, I have built a wealth of contacts. Pair that with my excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills and strong motivation to achieve, I believe I can add real value to Ink.
