About me

I am a first year Graphic Design student at The University of Bolton. I am looking specifically for summer work placements of any duration. I am very aware of the competitive nature of the industry and I know that a degree alone will not equip me sufficiently for the demands of prospective employers.

I consider myself to be creative and talented, and an ideas person. I like to push boundaries and think outside of the box. In the evenings I enjoy the challenging role of being a football referee in 5aside leagues.

I have a wide and varied interest in the creative industries and would be happy to gain experience or work in motion graphics, web design (including flash), editorial design, information graphics, advertising, and corporate design, or anything related.

I believe I have a good level of general knowledge and a reasonable awareness of current affairs and current design trends in comparison to my degree course peers.

I am competent in using software such as Illustrator, Photoshop, and Indesign either PC or Mac based, and I have some experience of Flash, Acrobat, Maya, Dreamweaver, as well as experience in using a range of Microsoft and other products.
