Dear Sir/Madam,

I have just viewed your job vacancy for Production Manager as advertised on Indeed.co.uk and wish to express my interest in the post.

My previous employment as an Operations Team Manager with Yell required understanding of people, product and process management with emphasis on detail and accuracy; reporting directly to the Operations Manager this role was primarily the management of a media production teams.

Responsibilities included internal and external communication, performance and workload management for multi-skilled staff across UK production studio's, problem resolution and resource management to ensure the product and service delivery expectations were met. The role also included recruitment, training and developing direct reports (including delivery of the training release to Teams in India).

Project management experience covered numerous areas within Yell's business from product development and process management; turning "proof of concept" ideas into "Business as usual" production with continual development and improvement, also digital workflow development and delivery.

I feel I have skills that could be transferred to your environment and have a wealth of knowledge and experience to offer which could be beneficial to the role.
