About me

Hello,

I'm an experienced Film maker specialising in Editing, and graduate of the Graphic Design & Photography course at Kingston University, London. I thrive in moving image projects, mainly within post production, but I also write, direct and shoot my own work.

I'm currently employed full time as an Editor and Shooter at the Progress Film Company in Brighton, but I'm very eager to find a position in London, and will happily relocate as soon as a role is offered.

I have over 5 years experience in film making, handling everything from writing, camera operation, lighting, sound, directing, and all necessary edit duties, both online and offline.

Video editing is without a doubt my passion in life, and a skill of which I practice even in my free time. I'm also just as confident as a camera operator, and have a flair for cinematic imagery.

I'm very experienced with both Mac and Windows operating systems, Premiere Pro CC, Final Cut Pro 7 & X, Speedgrade, Audition, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom, InDesign, Illustrator and many more in the Creative Suite.

My editing skillset also extends to that of audio, having music technology education, experience and flair for sound design, and a natural passion for all things musical.

I'm very technically minded, always planning to the most meticulous detail, but I'm also extremely creative, and fast to adapt and problem solve.

I can confidently work independently, or within large teams, enjoying the prospect of collaboration.

I can work very hard, always strive to be punctual, can cope well with long hours and loud, busy environments, take orders well, but also know when to instruct others in need. I'm also extremely fast at picking up and learning new skills and processes, and love the prospect of continuing to learn throughout my professional life.

Serious points aside, I would also bring enthusiasm, energy, a strong sense of humour and positivity to each working day, genuinely loving the career path I've chosen.
