About me
Please consider me for the Senior Creative position. My key skills lie in creating ideas and bringing them into reality using the available media at hand.
For you, I see a system of technologies, such as video and on-line, delivering relevant 'content' to specific audiences in their 'language'. External communications would engage existing and new audiences with clear and targeted information - building an identity, a sense of ownership and a compelling call to action.
Having supported the HBOS Foundation internally, I have appreciated the volume and effort that a hospice campaign brings. Using competitions, news stories, carrying branding across different platforms and integrating with other campaigns requires positive relationships internally and outside, technical and creative experience and empathy.
I have become fluent in multi-channel campaigns and the clear delivery of messages and brands. My web, video, creative and editorial skills mean I can conceptualise and realise content-rich communication projects. My role at HBOS brought together my skills with people, technology, visual media, editorial and creative writing to enthuse the teams around me and their 3rd party suppliers. I delivered cross-platform projects such as the first on-line Colleague Opinion Survey for 70,000 people.
Also, I put together, for the HBOS CEO, a live TV programme which included instant text messaging and blog Q&As across the intranet and TV network platforms.
The desire to take these complex mechanics and bring them together to offer a unified brand and message continues to drive me today. The challenge to position an SME alongside big multi-national businesses, requires strategic positioning, hard work and discipline. I have brought this work ethic to projects where my customers have been in a position to rank higher on Google than big companies like B&Q for like-for-like services. It requires hard work, desire and passion for the project.
This is me.
