I am a structural designer (not graphic) providing paper based packaging and display solutions.

18 years experience.

From your brief, product or internal dimensions a structural prototype can be created for you to view.

Performance, function and aesthetics will be considered during the design process.

Once approved for size and style the keyline can be emailed to your art house allowing for information and graphics to be added.

Fully printed mock-ups can be provided for a definitive proof should you require. This process is very popular with clients who manufacture their product overseas yet wish to keep a handle on the packaging development from within the UK.

To give you an idea of cost one piece ECMA and FEFCO designs are charged at £15 each. Additional design or unique design is charged thereafter at £30 per hour this includes material however excludes delivery. Digital and wet proof mock-ups are priced on request.

To assess my cardboard engineering skills I was responsible for the design of Wm Morrison Wine Carrier and Glasay International Dryce Box. I have also obtained 2 Star Pack Awards for transit packaging. More recently I have just completed the structural pack design for GHD and their next generation hair irons.
