Dear Sir or Madam,I have noticed with Interest your job advertisement for a Sound Recordist/Studio Engineer on the “Creative Pool” website (*). Therefore I am submitting my C.V (see attached) for your consideration.I have recently graduated from Staffordshire University with a BSc in Music Technology, and I have a very keen interest and passion for Live Music as well as the music industry in general. During my time at Staffordshire University I have used my knowledge and skills throughout many events at the University, this includes Live Music nights within the Student Union of which I have conducted and managed the Live Audio, which was being performed by many local bands/and artists. In my final year at Staffordshire University, included within my Dissertation I recorded and mixed the National Staffordshire Symphony Orchestra performing Live at St John Fisher High School, Newcastle Under Lyme. I then mixed and produced the recording into a 5.1 Surround environment.Not only have I gained experience within various Live Environments but I have also had studio experience, including recording, mixing, acoustic placement, and mastering all of which I use when I apply it to the Live Environment.
